Vercel Privacy Notice · Subprocessors and locations
The website stores the selected language and your privacy choice in your browser. This information remains on your device and is required to remember your preferences. The legal basis is § 25(2) TDDDG and, where personal data is involved, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The consent manager is served locally by this website and provides the preference interface. Loading it does not itself establish a connection to Silktide.
If you consent to the “Analytics & heatmaps” category, we use PostHog to measure reach and improve the website. We collect requested pages without URL query parameters or URL fragments, navigation paths, entry and exit pages, approximate time spent and scroll depth, external referring domains, and the campaign parameters utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign. We also capture selected interactions such as clicks on demo buttons, activating or opening the booking calendar externally, starting to use the contact form, and the technical success or failure of a submission. For these contact-form events, we send only the selected bounded contact category (demo, career, general, technical, partnership, or unknown), not the form contents. For coordinate-based heatmaps, we collect clicks, mouse movements, and dead- or rage-click points on the respective page; scrollmaps are derived from pageview and pageleave data.
Names, email addresses, messages, telephone numbers, form entries other than the stated contact category, free text, DOM text, element attributes, complete referring URLs, and URL query parameters not explicitly listed above are not sent to PostHog. Heatmap points contain only the sanitized page path, coordinates, and a bounded event type. We do not combine the pseudonymous identifier with contact or booking data and do not create person profiles.
The provider is PostHog, Inc. We use PostHog Cloud EU; analytics data is processed on infrastructure in Frankfurt. After your consent, PostHog stores a random pseudonymous identifier for up to 180 days in a first-party cookie and your browser’s local storage. This allows us to recognize returning browsers and multi-page visits. The IP address technically used during transmission is discarded and is not retained for location data. Autocapture and clickmaps, session replay, person profiles, and error, performance, and console capture are disabled; heatmaps are enabled only after your consent.
Legal basis: Your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG for storing and accessing the browser identifier and under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for the associated processing. We obtain consent before PostHog is loaded. Under our selected plan, PostHog retains server-side analytics data for up to seven years.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time for the future through the privacy icon at the bottom left. Withdrawal stops further collection and removes the local PostHog identifier. Server-side data already collected lawfully is processed according to the periods stated above and subject to your statutory data-subject rights.
